Welcome to GetShared. By accessing or using our file sharing and cloud storage services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using GetShared services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Description of Service

GetShared provides file sharing and cloud storage services that allow users to:

  • Upload, store, and manage files in the cloud
  • Share files with others via secure links or email
  • Collaborate with team members on shared content
  • Access files from any device with internet connectivity

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Account Security

You agree to immediately notify GetShared of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication for enhanced security.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use GetShared services to:

  • Upload, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates any third-party rights
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious software
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Share content that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use the service for spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

5. Content and Files

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to GetShared. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

5.2 Shared Content

Files sent through this application are only intended for the specific receiver. Sharing the files with other people is not allowed without the consent of the original sender.

5.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws. We may also remove content if required by law enforcement or in response to valid legal requests.

6. Storage Limits and Quotas

Your storage capacity depends on your subscription plan. If you exceed your storage quota, you may be unable to upload new files until you free up space or upgrade your plan. Free accounts that remain inactive for extended periods may have their data deleted after prior notice.

7. Payment and Subscription

7.1 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

7.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest
  • TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit
  • Two-factor authentication options
  • Regular security audits and monitoring

10. Intellectual Property

GetShared and its associated logos, designs, and content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our service without explicit permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetShared shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GetShared, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website. Continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
